What figure comes to mind when you think about growing your business? The number most people talk about is revenue. And, when you’re focused on growing revenue, this is what drives the business decisions you make.
During my last launch, however, I had an epiphany. There I was, getting ready to sell a valuable course on evergreen with a low price offering of around $300. If I sold 100, that would make me $30,000 – which is nothing to sneeze at, right? But then I thought about my mentors and the people that I respect (such as the many fabulous guests we have on this show). They’d be quick to tell me “don’t sell anything for less than $5k.”
This made me question myself: what am I doing launching a course that’s selling for $300? If I want to go from a $300k business to a $500k business, an extra $30k barely moves the needle.
But, should revenue growth be the most important driver in my business? I thought long and hard about it. And, when I considered what’s really important to me and my family, I had a great epiphany that led to this mindset shift. I’ll be sharing all the details with you in this episode.
